At Precious Paws, dogs come first.
Eva wanted to create somewhere dogs could feel comfortable, socialise, play and relax — while their owners knew they were being cared for by people who genuinely know them.

The Beginning
How It All Started
Precious Paws was founded by Eva Ujhaziova. Eva began working with dogs more than 20 years ago while working as a nanny in North London. When the family's dog walker retired, Eva stepped in.
What was originally supposed to be temporary developed through word of mouth into a long-term career caring for dogs across North London.
Eva is also an owner of five rescue dogs herself. Her experiences both professionally and as a dog owner shaped the philosophy behind Precious Paws.
She wanted to create an environment different from traditional facilities where owners leave their dogs at reception without really seeing where or how they spend their time.
In early 2026, Eva took over the premises at 83–85a Haverstock Hill and transformed the space into a welcoming centre for premium dog daycare and grooming.

Founder
Eva began working with dogs over 20 years ago while working as a nanny in North London. When the family's dog walker retired, Eva stepped in — and what was meant to be temporary grew through word of mouth into a lifelong career caring for dogs across North London. Eva is also the owner of five rescue dogs, and her experiences — both professional and personal — shaped the philosophy behind Precious Paws.
Amelia Smallwood
Head of Grooming
Amelia brings years of grooming experience and shares Eva's dogs-first approach. The grooming environment is calm and uncrated — after their groom, dogs are able to relax rather than being treated like appointments moving through a production line.
